LED Sales Specialist – Custom & AIO LED Video Wall Solutions

Full-Time • UK (Hybrid/Remote with preference for Central/East UK)

Mentor Distribution UK is expanding our specialist sales team and seeking an experienced LED Sales Specialist to support and grow our LED video wall business across our IT & AV reseller network.

This is a unique opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge LED display technologies—both custom LED configurations and All-In-One (AIO) LED solutions—from leading vendors including Hikvision, Hisense, and Sharp dvLED, alongside our broader portfolio of Pro-AV solutions.

About the Role

As our LED Sales Specialist, you will act as Mentor Distribution’s subject-matter expert for LED video walls. You’ll combine technical understanding with strong commercial sales capability to drive LED opportunities from concept to completion.

This role includes traditional account management across all Mentor vendors, with a dedicated focus on:

  • Designing and specifying custom LED video wall solutions

  • Supporting resellers with site surveys, technical presentations, and solution scoping

  • Advising on brackets, mounting systems, and installation requirements

  • Working closely with vendor partners for project validation and delivery

  • Managing LED pipeline forecasts and driving category growth

📍 Location Advantage – Henlow, Bedfordshire

Mentor Distribution is opening a dedicated LED showroom in Henlow, Bedfordshire, designed specifically for hosting reseller demonstrations, technical sessions, and live LED experiences.
Being located within reasonable distance of the Henlow area—or the Central/East UK region—would be highly beneficial for customer visits, showroom demos, and on-site LED project consultations.


🛠 Key Responsibilities

Sales & Account Management

  • Manage and grow LED business within an assigned reseller customer base

  • Develop commercial opportunities across Mentor Distribution’s vendor portfolio

  • Conduct proactive outreach, training sessions, and LED solution workshops

  • Deliver impactful LED demonstrations at customer sites, events, and in our Henlow LED showroom

LED Technical & Project Support

  • Create LED designs, quotations, and technical specifications

  • Advise on pixel pitch, cabinet layouts, brightness, controllers, and mounting structures

  • Support technical site surveys and environmental assessments

  • Provide installation and mounting guidance throughout the project lifecycle

  • Liaise with vendor technical teams for project design approval

  • Coordinate timelines to ensure smooth and successful project delivery

Market & Vendor Collaboration

  • Work closely with key LED manufacturers: Hikvision, Hisense, Sharp dvLED, and others

  • Stay updated with the latest LED innovations, competitive products, and trends

  • Train internal Mentor sales teams on LED products and opportunity management

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in AV or IT sales, ideally with LED or large-format display background

  • Technical understanding of LED components and installation considerations

  • Ability to interpret drawings, floorplans, and basic technical schematics

  • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills

  • Experience working with resellers, integrators, or AV project teams

  • Self-driven, organised, and adept at managing full sales cycles
